Regional Workshops

SPARC offers customized in-person regional workshops and events throughout the year. We work with allied regional associations to develop and lead programs that support the ongoing work of auxiliary program professionals. Workshop content can include:

• Current best practices
• Trends in auxiliary programming
• Specific program area focus (ie. summer, after school, enrichment, etc.)
• Facilitated discussion of current challenges and opportunities

Meet SPARC where your travels intersect with ours!

Regional workshops are open to all auxiliary professionals, regardless of their school location. 

• New England Summer and Auxiliary Leaders Workshop (Massachusetts) - Formerly known as the SPARC Auxiliary Revenue Summit, this workshop brings together auxiliary and summer program leaders from across New England for a day of meaningful learning and connection. Our 3rd New England workshop will be held on February 17, 2026 at St. Mark's School in Southborough, Massachusetts. 
• SoCal Summer and Auxiliary Leaders Workshop (CA) - This workshop is intended for directors and leaders working in auxiliary programs at independent schools to connect and learn with local colleagues. The 3rd annual SoCal workshop was held December 10, 2025 at Harvard-Westlake School in Studio City, CA.
• Summer Summit (Washington, DC) - This workshop brings together Auxiliary and Summer Programs staff for an energetic professional development event with choices of over 20 break0ut sessions and roundtables. The 18th annual Summer Summit was last held on December 5, 2025 at Sidwell Friends School in Washington, DC.
• DFW Auxiliary Leaders Workshop (TX) - SPARC offered the second annual DFW Auxiliary Leaders Workshop at the Lamplighter School in Dallas, TX, on November 6, 2025, for directors and leaders working in auxiliary programs at independent schools to connect and learn with their colleagues.
• SPARC/PAISBOA Auxiliary Revenue Workshop (PA) - SPARC partnered with PAISBOA to offer an in-person workshop in Wayne, PA on December 3, 2025. This program is geared towards both auxiliary and business leaders in independent schools.
