Webster Montessori School seeks an experienced school administrator to serve as the Coordinator for our Before and After School and Enrichment Programs. The ideal candidate will have strong management and organizational skills and experience working with children.,

This position will begin on 11/10 or as soon as a qualified candidate is identified.

Hours: This is a 30 hour per week position. Hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 10am - 4pm, with the ability to extend until 5:30pm on days when it is required due to staffing needs.

Reporting: This position reports to the Director of Wrap-around.

Compensation: $23-26/hour based on experience

-Bachelor's Degree from a recognized institution

-12 college credits in early childhood education (either completed or to be completed in 6 months)

-At least 2 years of experience in coordinating children's program or as a lead teacher

-Knowledge of child development theories and best practices and skill in implementing emergent curriculum activities and materials for young children.

-Knowledge of safety and emergency procedures for children.

-Strong organizational and communication skills

The candidate who is selected for this position will be trained by the Director of Wrap-around

-Maintain OCFS license status: Maintain the learning environment in accordance with OCFS licensing and State and local standards. Ensure that all staff of the program meet OCFS training requirements. Handle all OCFS inspections and communication.  

-Identify and coordinate with vendors to provide after-school enrichment programming for our students of all ages.

-Maintain student schedules for before and after-care and enrichment programs. Keep up to date with schedule changes.

-Participate in the billing process for before and after-care and enrichment programming along with the Director of Wrap-around and Business Manager.

-Work with the Director of Wrap-around to ensure that the program is properly staffed on a daily basis and plan for coverage when staff members are absent.

-Plan for student sign ups and staffing on school-holiday days when child-care is offered.

-Work with the Director of Wrap-around on interviewing and hiring for open positions.

-Keep accurate and detailed records; learn to operate Pro-care, and later Brightwheel, which are necessary softwares for the program.  

-Assist the Director of Wrap-around in handling parent/guardian communication and addressing concerns in relation to before/after school programs.

-Attend meetings and training as required.

-Plan and implement summer programs.

-Work with the Director of Wrap-around to assume some supervisory responsibilities for the program staff.

-Step into the role of the Director of Wrap-around during absences or time off.

-Participate in schoolwide and role specific Professional Development
